The Wolf tees off last on their hole so they can read the others first. Going alone pays the most and risks the most. Point values differ group to group — set yours up top.

Wolf rewards nerve. The Wolf tees off last so they can read the others, then commits to a partner or takes on all three alone for a bigger prize.

Set your own point values — partner, Lone, and Blind — then just tap the result each hole.

Common questions

How do you play Wolf in golf?

Four players rotate as the Wolf. On their hole the Wolf tees off last, watches the others, and either picks one as a partner for 2 v 2 or goes alone (Lone Wolf) 1 v 3 for more points.

What is a Lone Wolf or Blind Wolf?

Lone Wolf is the Wolf choosing to play alone against the other three for a bigger reward. Blind Wolf (or Blind Lone) is declaring alone before anyone tees off, which usually doubles the points.

How many points is a Wolf win worth?

Point values vary by group. A common setup is 1 point each for a partner win and 4 for a Lone Wolf win, with Blind Wolf doubling. This calculator lets you set your own values.

How does Skins Golf handle Wolf?

Skins Golf rotates the Wolf for you, records each hole's choice and result, and keeps the running points and payout so nobody has to track it by hand.
