Privacy Policy

Skins Golf is operated by Skins Golf LLC (“Skins Golf”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Skins Golf website, mobile apps, and related services (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account information. Name, email, mobile phone number, password (if applicable), profile photo, date of birth, gender, handedness, GHIN handicap number.
• Golf data. Rounds, scores, course selections, equipment (clubs, ball, glove), apparel sizes, side bets, event participation, Calcutta history.
• Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location, in-app actions, crash logs.
• Payment data. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Content you upload. Photos, videos, comments, scorecards.

We use SMS, delivered via Twilio, to send you account verification codes (one-time passcodes / OTP), security alerts, and transactional updates about events you have opted into. By providing your mobile phone number you consent to receive these messages. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, we may send a final confirmation message. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@skinsgolf.io.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or related consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and consent records are shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering messages you requested.

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Verify your identity, including via SMS one-time passcodes, and protect your account.
• Calculate scoring, handicaps, side bets, event standings, Calcutta payouts, and historical statistics.
• Sync handicap data with USGA GHIN where you have linked your GHIN number.
• Send you updates about events you participate in or rounds you play.
• Improve the Service, debug issues, and develop new features.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We share information only as described below:

• Service providers who help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting (Supabase, Vercel), SMS delivery (Twilio), payment processing (Stripe), email (Resend), AI services (Anthropic), and analytics. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data.
• Clubs and event organizers you participate with, who can see your profile, handicap, equipment, apparel sizes (per your visibility setting), event results, and contact information you provide.
• Other users per your privacy settings (private, friends, public).
• Legal requirements, when we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent harm.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

• Edit or delete your profile, equipment, sizes, and round data at any time.
• Adjust visibility per round and per data type.
• Opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
• Disconnect GHIN, delete your account, or request a data export.

We retain your information while your account is active. After deletion, we may retain certain records as required by law or to resolve disputes (for example, financial records related to subscription billing).

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, row-level security in our database, and strict access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you of material breaches as required by law.

We will post material changes here and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant we will notify you in-app or by email.
